Surprise From Above
During their race Epsilon and Omicron took two different routes. Now where the routes have merged the Spirit of Flames leaps off the higher path and down towards the lower one.

If Omicron doesn't move the Trowel-V however the Spirit will be landing ON him. Which in F-Zero races is a perfectly legal maneuver.
