Sunset Dragon
Its been a while but here is one of my HD Renders. I don't do these often, but I try to make them some of my best work.Here we see Charuck, standing on a rock in the desert he lives in and looking at the setting sun, catching the last warmth he can before he has to settle down for the cold night. Being cold-blooded he wants all the warmth he can get.
This was overall a fun piece to create. I was going for a sunrise originally, but I think sunset works a lot better.
The shadows were being a pain until I realized, given the angle the sun is at we can't see Charuck's shadow because the slanted side of the rock he's standing on is all in shadow. Took me a while to figure that out :stupidme:. So to get the nice long shadows I added some cacti in.
My watermark is not present in the shop version.
