The Darkness Vanquished
The final blow, Unity has unleashed the full force of his power on The Darkness in space. This is Chaos Blast as performed by Unity.From the very center of The Darkness unity unleashed his power at full. The resulting explosion tore The Darkness to shreds and scattered it throughout space.
The Darkness is the embodiment of order, just as Unity is the embodiment of Chaos. Neither can truly be conquered, only subdued for a time.
Several shreds of The Darkness fall to the planet and use their power to transform Metal Sonic into the killing machine Dark Metal Sonic.

Surprisingly, this only took me about 5 minutes to setup, and about 45 minutes to render.
