New Character: Shilv
Presenting my new character Shilv!Species: Aqurin Dragon
Shilv is an aquatic dragon, that is to say he lives in the water. More specifically he lives in the ocean.
Shilv lacks many things traditional of dragons, but that is because he is adapted for his watery environment.
Shilv can't fly in the air but uses the wing membranes attached to his forelimbs to guide and steer himself in the water as his powerful flat tail pushes him through the water at speeds up to 40 miles per hour (roughly 64.3 kilometers per hour).
Shilv is an air breather so he has to surface for air. When he dives his nostrils close and he can dive to depths of about 500 meters. He can stay down for about half an hour.
He comes onto land for various reasons, but never gets out of eyesight of the water.
In the dark depths of the water Shilv uses echolocation similar to dolphins.
